Georgette Leah Burns Australian School of Environmental Studies Griffith University
Leah holds a research-based Master of Science, in Anthropology, from the University of Western Australia and is completing a PhD on wildlife tourism at Murdoch University. She has been a lecturer at Griffith University since 1996, where she is a founding member of the University Centre for Innovative Conservation Strategies. Her research interests focus on environmental anthropology and the anthropology of tourism. Recent publications relevant to the Animals and Society Study Group include: Burns, G.
